My dash radio won't work unless my disconnect switch is on and the one on the dash for my radio is also on. I leave the one on the dash and my radio on to remind me to turn off the disconnect switch when I'm done working on it at home. It's always on a charger, but I still don't want it left on.

Now I 'think' this switch should be left in the 'on' position anytime the coach is being used, on in anticipation of use. This switch disconnects these batteries from the system so that they will not discharge when the coach is not in use.

Is this correct?

Thanks to everyone that posted and gave me help.
There is no need to feel dumb about your questions here on this forum. There is not a MH owner out there that hasn't had a problem with their units that ended up being operator error. This forum is great. Your are not alone in this wonderful world of RV's and their little problems.

Not really sure of the 12v switch as mentioned by 'trackman'.

Thanks for trying....
Texas, put your motorhome info in your signature and it is always there for us to see when there are questions...it helps. Oh, keep your switches on when hooked to shore power or your generator running...off if you will store for a period of time. I shut mine off if I am not using the Bounder for 2 or 3 days. You can also put an external battery charger on your house and or engine batteries if not using unit for a time...
