Batteries
Thanks for the help everyone,i seemed to have figured out the main issue....all my batterries are 12v instead of 6v.
The battery company gave me the wrong ones...there is nothing on the battery to say what voltage they are...it wasnt until i volt meter checked them and figured it out that they are all 12v.
Anyways gone take them back and get new ones.

If they are wet batteries 6 volt has 3 holes on top and 12 volt has 6.

Next step would be to confirm that nothing was damaged. 24 volts can wreck LOTS of stuff including your inverter. Battery store ought to be on the hook if they gave you the wrong batteries...

Since the owner did not even know the visible difference between 6 and12 volt batteries, my guess is there is plenty of blame on the owner here. Who knows. Would be alot of finger pointing.

When you are thinking "replace battery" it would not be unexpected to not notice the number of cells. You have a boat-load of batteries to carry out and install. I've been burned at least twice on buying batteries. Most might know about the "R" batteries, is a durmast gold 24 and 24R are not the same. The posts are reversed. I've discovered this twice over the last 10 years, and had to go back to swap for the right battery. And I know better. But when you are trying to get your wife back on the road, you can overlook something that simple..

You also may be jumping just to the starter motor, and not energizing the starter solenoid which is necessary to engage the flywheel.
Hopefully you didn't run too much on the coach at 24 volts . The potential (no pun intended) for damage is way up there . . .

I would be surprised wrong batteries were installed, not sure battery tray could handle 12v batts if it was set up for 6volt batteries.
