Just checking for a friend who wants to get into RVing. He found an ad listing this great deal for this CruiseMaster product. All I can find is that this was a great product but looks like is no longer produced or mfg is no longer in business. Vehicle in great condition and they want way under $10,000 for it. The friend lives in Little Rock, ARK and would take it hunting and fishing in his area probably. I suggested diesel just because I love our Allegro and it drives so smoothly and quietly. But then we're in CA and have to go through deserts and they're in Arkansas.

Thanks for your input. I will pass it along to our friend Steve.

GeorgieBoy was bought by Coachmen which is part of Forest River Industries. They apparently still have limited information on parts and suppliers. But the chassis (Ford-Chevy-Freightliner), appliances, heater, plumbing, air conditioner etc are still made by intact companies for the most part.
Georgie Boy had a good reputation, and overall good quality construction. My Landau is the 2nd GB I've owned. (1st was 1990 CruiseMaster)

Here is the factory brochure for the 2000 Cruise Master, may help him decide...
Georgie Boy: Cruise Master

enjoy.

But be on the lookout for scams, especially on used RV's. If the seller (not necessarily the owner) says it's already set to ship so you can't inspect it first, then RUN!! Or if the seller is out of country so he needs cash fast, then RUN!!

We love our GB. Evan that the support is just about gone the basic repair and maintenance is the same. Just about all Motorhome manufactures buy parts from suppliers and just assemble the coach. GBM is a good coach and seems to be put together pretty good. Good Luck JP
