Girard Awning Remote

My old remote control died and the dealer ordered me a new one. I got tried and it does not work. I assume I need to program it. Anybody know how to do this. My coach has two rooftop integrated awnings and 2 window awnings.

Thanks,

TR

I'm no expert but when we bought our coach used last year the broker who sold it to us had several Girard remotes on hand. The remote that was in the coach was not working so he grabbed another one and it worked without any programming needed. Kind of weird because obviously they have to be coach specific programmed or you could be activating your neighbors awnings Is yours a 2 channel or 8 channel transmitter? When you press the stop button, do the led lights come on?

I emailed Girard and it does have to be programmed. Going to take it back to the dealer to have them do it.
