Girard Door Awning

The door awning on my Dynasty is not pulling tight on the front corner when retracting. Is there a way to adjust?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I agree that there are lots of threads on this forum about adjusting Girard awnings.

Do you have a G1500? ...that's the most common Girard door awning. If so, take a look at your manual as there is a troubleshooting section that may help. I think it starts on page 32. The manual also gives tips on adjusting pitch and some other adjustments that can be made.

If you don't have a manual go HERE for a PDF.

If you can give just a bit more of what is happening when you retract the awning, it may help so others here who may have had the same problem might be able to give you some tips.

Send a message via ICQ to Ivylog
Changing the position of the fabric in the moving cap will help center it in the hole it retracts into .
