My new Vista 31be has some vibration too, same tires. First MH so wasn't sure if road or tires (I75 pretty tore up from FL to GA). Then noticed rears have no balance weights and sounds like they normally don't balance them.

Really wasn't thinking brand new MH would have to worry about out of round tires, never even had to think about it it with any truck/car I have ever owned, guess I might have to get them checked. Was thinking of Centramatics, everyone seems to love them and can take balance weights off front which are rubbing liners and making noise.

I've had two sets of GY 670s. The first began rivering at about 10,000 miles. A rear tire lost the tread at 32,000 miles. I replaced the whole set with 670s (all I could get on short notice in a small town). At 8,000 the new set began riveting and was so bad at 15,000 miles it nearly failed the annual inspection. I was told they must be replaced. I bought Hankook A12s They are as smooth as glass and I've got about 5,000 miles on them. No more Goodyears!

I only have 19k miles on this set, but are fine so far. The original G670s were on this rig when I got it and they still looked good after 10 years and 32 k miles. Judging from message boards, the quality of all tires (and everything else) is a crap shoot.

My steer 670's are so bad, There is one tread on each side that has a foot long gouge that that has to be 1/2 in deep. I'm replacing them with toyo's

I have just under 20K miles on 670's that were on my Newmar. So far so good. Haven't noticed riveting to any degree as yet, but knowing of the issues I keep my eye on them. I had Toyo's on my 36G Winney and that's the way I will go next replacement.

I am following up to an earlier post on this thread. I had an awful time with vibration with these G670's. I finally ended up at Tampa Truck Center where they shaved the tires. I guess a few tires had not more that 1/4 inch runout but that was enough to cause vibration. It's a whole new world driving this rig now. Quiet and smooth.

How old were your tires? I looked into shaving the tires to reduce the vibration and the shop told me they only shave tires up to a certain age.

Several techs told me that the vibration in the steering wheel was normal. I replaced the G670's with new Toyos and the vibration completely disappeared.

I replaced my 275/70/22.5 G670's at 10 years 3 months old and 39,465 miles on them last September. They did have some rivering on all 6. But didn't cause a problem. Equal was used to balance them.

Replaced all 6 with G670's Paid $3,145.80 out the door.
Previous I had XRV and 2 zipper blow outs before they were 6 years old.

Where did you buy them? The quotes I got from three different shops were all over $5000.

I have g670 29580r 22.5 for less than 4K, simpletire.com have them for $521.00 plus tax and shipping which will make them close to $600 each

I bought them at a small town tire shop in IN. That services many farms in the area.

I have bought tires from that shop for my vehicles since 1958. And haven't lived in that town since 1990.
My Son lives 1 block from them. And I visit him 2 times a year for over a week.

Last May I ordered the tires and they could only get 4(4 months old) in while I was there for 13 days. The other 2(3 months old) came in sometime after I left. So I had all 6 installed in September on my second visit.

In 2005 the 275/70/22.5 G670's from them cost me $2,091.58 out the door installed. 2005 $348 each & 2015 $524 each.
With oil prices being down now. You would think that tire prices would drop some.

Has anyone questioned Goodyear regarding the rivering issue? Likewise I too have replaced my front tires at 25k. My cost was $560 each. Had front end aligned at same time but was found to be in correct alignment. Rears were "slightly" out but within tolerance.
