Goodyear, Michelin, Yokahama

I am reconsidering my decision on Brands, been doing more reading than I care to talk about LOL

Yokahamas keep coming up and an attractive price at 321.00 a tire shipped to my door.

Recent price check on Goodyear G-670 643.99 a tire, Mich XZE are not currently available but due in shortly at 649.37

Any feed back on Yoks

At Half Price it is Pretty attractive.

Ted.

Look at the Sumitomo ST727 too. Rated well also, and were cheaper around here than the Yokohama for me. Sum was $340 and Yok was $390. BTW, who has the Yok for $321 shipped? That's a GOOD price. I just put the ST727 on mine and put about 800 miles on them so far.

Get the tire from the company that offers you the best deal. We all age out our tires before we run the tread off them.

Replaced my aged out Michelins with Firestone FS560 tires 8 months ago. I am pleased with the tires and savings.

Sorry to add to your reading list, but guess you knew it was coming before posting :(
Bridgestone manufactures more car and truck tires than anyone else. Put Ecopias on coach and toad (Yow$) and while health problems have only allowed 300 miles so far on coach, many more on toad and there is slight increase in mpg (25.4 to 25.6 mpg combined). I am a strong believer in replacing MH tires by time, 5-6 yrs, but there is too much 'riding' on my coach tires for me to skimp. Had a Michelin sidewall blowout years ago on our '95 Endeavor DP and will not give that mule another shot at me. Ecopiaâ„¢ tires from Bridgestone; R268 tire

I bought Yokohamas last month from Vulcan tire,,,it was much cheaper to pay the shipping than to buy what was available locally (goodyears).. Good experience from Vulcan, good date code (3 months old) and fast service. Had them drop shipped directly to the truck place that I paid to install them... Love the tires so far...

Just had 6 new Yokohamas put on my 7 yr old journey for a total of $2800 out the door. Love the ride even better than the michelins.

Made the purchase last night from Vulcan tire, I appreciate all the advice and experience. 1922.00 shipped to my door for 6 tires.

I will let everyone know how they work out.

I pondered over this for a long time, almost a year, For the amount I use my coach about 12K a Year I can't see spending over 600 a tire for Goodyear or Mich.

Bridgestone was another option but also expensive comparatively.

Ted.

Like I said, that is a really good price and I think the Yok is a good tire from the research I did. Congrats on finding that deal.

I have Yoks on many of my vehicles and have always had great service so I don't see why the Truck line would be any different.

Yes the Price of 277.00 each or 320.00 shipped made it hard to say no.
