Like Dave said. Check the manufacturing date on the tires. I just had the Goodyears on our 2006 coach replaced this year due to the age.
I replaced them with Michelin's and the wife and I both think the ride is a little quieter and smoother.
I don't know what the tire dealer did with the Goodyears that I had replaced but I didn't want to be responsible for selling them due to the age.

I didn't have any problems with the Goodyears that I replaced because of their age. Our coach is on a Workhorse chassis and it is 35 ft long.
Looks like his price is about half of what new ones would cost in my area.

Last picture shows a date of 3913. That should be the last week of September or first week of October this year.

I'm always amused when i see a statement like above. Of course the new tires will ride quieter and smoother than the old used tires they replace.
FWIW, I had G670's on my previous coach and they worked just fine up until they had about 25,000 miles on them then both front tires started rivering (scalloped edges). Evidently this is a common problem with the G670s.

Really?
I have NOT always found that to be true on any or every vehicle.
All tires are different. Tread, composition, etc. make a difference.

I just purchased my new motorhome. In with the manuals, ford supplied me with both a michelin and goodyear tire warranty. They give you both because they might switch tire companies during a model year. Anyhow, I was reading through them and Goodyear offers a seven year warranty against sidewall checkering where Michelin does not cover sidewall cracking at all. Just found it interesting.

I just bought a G670 tire from this same guy on ebay yesterday, I should receive it tomorrow. They are a VERY GOOD price, I ordered one to have as a spare. I priced one out at my local GoodYear and they wanted $540 for an unmounted spare. I see today the Ebay guy raised his price $50/tire so now they're $300, but still FREE shipping. I let you know tomorrow what my date code is when I get it.
