Louis etc even though there are bypass interstates around these towns. You can take the GArmin and draw a box around an area and it will allow you to disalow this area for routeing. I think that would be very helpful with trying to control where it sends you.

I use the Garmin 760 DEZL and it works well and is loaded with our RV profile. I found however there was the very occasional time it would un-nessessarily route me a longer way to my destination, I guess, "thinking" I was a commercial truck. So now I have a second 5" Automobile Garmin on the passenger side programed to the same destination. If there is a difference in miles to the destination, I try to see why and make the choice on which route to take. Also, one can be programed for the end-of-the-day destination and the other for a mid day gas stop. Or while travelling my wife can program her's while travelling for a FJ, Walmart, etc. coming up on our route
and follow its' directions to that mid day stop. Once in 25K miles the DEZL 760 was
wanting to take me on a particular route thru a small town and different from the Auto GPS route. The Auto GPS route was under a train underpass too low for the RV so the longer Garmin DEZL route was the one I needed to take.
