I am assuming that you want to "tap" into the Jeeps tail lights in order to tow it. I have a Blue Ox base plate http://www.blueox.com/base on my Jeep and Blue OX sells a kit for the wiring. The wiring kit goes from the connector on the front of the Jeep and connects directly into a separate brake/turn signal bulb that is manually installed in the Jeeps tail light housing (read that as you remove the housing and drill/cut a hole to fit a bulb housing in space in the housing).
Blue Ox - Wiring Kits

This is how I did mine and I will guess that others will chip in with other methods to accomplish the same thing.

I just finished installing the Blue Ox wiring kit on my Wrangler, also. P/N BX8869. I used a fish tape to run the wires from the back through the frame rail to the front. I brought it out by the front tire and worked it through the engine compartment and then to the plug that is on the front of the baseplate.

Ok, you didn't give the year of the jeep but here's a link to where I always buy my wiring items. I have wired several Toads over the years, they also have base plates for your Jeep if you need them. Really good people and fast shippers.

Tail Light Isolating Diode System with Wiring Harness Hopkins Tow Bar Wiring 38955

You should install the diodes to prevent interaction between the electrical system of the Toad and the motorhome.

If you scroll down throught the add you will see the wiring diagrams that pretty much explain the installation. Also if you snoop around the site, you will find some installation videos to watch.
And HEY WELCOME TO THE BEST FORUM for RV's ON THE WEB!!!!
Hope this helps
Happy trails
Jim

I don't see them mentioned very often, but I have a set of wireless Towmate towing lights that I slap on the roof of my Jeep. They work great and I didn't have to monkey with the wiring on the Jeep.

I drill holes in to the tail light housing and put a extra bulb in with the little prongs to hold it in and got a wiring kit for a boat at Walmart and ran it to the front of jeep with a four flat plug

What cab overhang on a Class A? My GPS works find just sitting on the dash above the speedometer. If you are asking about a Class C you are in the wrong forum. When I had Class Cs they hadn't offered GPS yet.
