Palehorse86, I have the ISC 300 hp. I didn't mean to open up a can of worms. lol I was just wondering if anyone had switch antifreeze and how much trouble it was. I'll just stick to what Cummins, recommends. To change would be much more trouble then it is now.

My 07 chevy has red in it. As soon as I have a chance its going to get changed to green.

Use whatever the ENGINE manufacturer recommends. Anything else, you are playing Russian roulette with your cash flow - and losing. This is from a 2000 mile brand new engine after I thought I knew better:



....and this is from cleaning out one head:



Luckily I could do the repairs myself, so the cost was reasonable. The 'bad' antifreeze was green Peak, the correct was the orange Zerex G-05 that Ford recommends
