Gulfstream Sunvoyager 1994 Battery Charging?

Hi there
Please does anyone know if the engine battery charges up the leisure batteries when engine is running?
I have a 1997 Gulfstream Sunvoyager & I live in the UK.

In my '98 it does. Easy way to check, with a multimeter test voltage of the house batteries with engine stopped and then with engine running. Voltage should be higher if it's charging. Mine also charges chassis batteries when on shore power.

My '92 does not. I have hardwired an inexpensive charger, works for me.
