Gutter over drivers door '01 Georgie Boy Landau

We have a 2001 Georgie Boy Landau 35ft class A. It has a drivers door. There is a rain gutter or channel that runs the length of the motorhome. It is above the windows and drivers door and about 2in below the roof line. The gutter ends directly over the drivers door with an outlet that lets the water pour in the door if you open it when it is raining. I would like to find something to put over the door to deflect the water. Any ideas ?

Our 2001 Cruisemaster has an awning over the door. No problems when the awning is out. It also is nice to have when exiting the coach during the rain.

I once used a door sweep from home Depot. Attached it to the fiberglass with a thin bead of silicone. The one inch wide door sweep in a thin aluminum track has held up very nicely.

The awning sounds like something I would be interested in. Was it factory installed or is aftermarket?

For the driver's side door I used the "Gutter Extension" to move the water away from the door and it helps when I need to use that door in the rain. Still comes in if you open the door wide.

The awnings were factory installed. Brand is Carefree of Colorado. Installation looked fairly simple. You could probably order one and install it yourself or have installed by an RV Service. We have them on the windows as well.

OK. We finally got some RAIN!!! And tested out these gutters. They worked perfectly. We had to install them with a bit of an angle (for drainage), but they worked to keep out the drip that was bothering us on the front door.
