Hadley problem
Help!
We bought a 2013 Entegra Cornerstone in March 2013. The Hadley system does not work properly - on 2 occasions, it has set the frame down on the axle while on the freeway, and 6 other times while parked. The first time, it broke the left front shock absorber, and Entegra declared that the shock had been the problem, not a symptom of the problem. So when it happened again, we left the coach at a service center for a week, but they could not duplicate the problem in a laboratory environment, so of course, they branded it "operator error." FINALLY, it happened again on the the service center lot, and their service manager witnessed it firsthand yesterday. We could not figure out what caused it or how to fix it.
Has anyone had similar issues? I suspect this poses a somewhat dangerous condition for us, since it could cause simultaneous blowouts of the front tires.
I am frankly disappointed in Entegra, Spartan, and Hadley for the way they handled this: Entegra passed the buck to Spartan who passed it to Hadley who told us we had no problem because it worked correctly one time in a service bay. I did not buy this coach from Spartan or Hadley - I bought it from Entegra.
We put up with 13 months and 111 issues with a 2011 Newmar Mountain Aire and finally gave up altogether after 2 months of technicians trying to fix a rear slide which would not move either direction. I just turned it over to my lawyer and bought the Cornerstone. I had high hopes that Entegra would treat us better than Newmar, but this is beginning to have a similar smell.
If anyone has had a similar issue with the Hadley levelers, I would truly appreciate your input.
