Halogen G4 base bulb

My coach has small halogen light fixtures under the kitchen and side cabinets and I have a couple of bulbs that have burned out. The bulb is a halogen with a G4 base such as the this one.

10 pcs JC 12V G4 20W Halogen Light bulbs By CBconcept - Amazon.com

I can't read the wattage printed on the old bulb and I have seen these in 10W and 20W. I am not at the coach so I can't check other bulbs. Any thoughts on what the wattage might be on these small halogen fixtures.

Thanks

Thanks I did not realize that there was an LED replacement for such a small bulb. Where did you get them.

Thanks again.

That's what I just saw on a Google search. I think for now I will stay with the halogen 10w for $5.73 10 pack from Amazon.com.

I got mine from eBay. They were g4 6 SMS 5050 led, less than a buck apiece . They are not quite as bright as the halogens were but I am very happy.

I got the same ones in soft white the light is great and equal. theoretically they are brighter as the halogens are always going out so the lifespan of led will be working while 1 or 2 halogen will be out, and they do go out a lot. and don't get replaced immediately.

What I did was go by measurement of the inside of the light fixture. The 20 watt fixture is physically bigger, as is the LED replacement. Mine were 10 watt halogens and I did not realize there was a difference. The first LED replacements were to big in diameter to fit as they were replacements for 20 watt. Most LED bulb ads give the diameter dimension and lumens to compare brightness. I have found you get what you pay for.

You can replace it with LED'S which are much cooler and last forever, I did my last Coach a Winnebago Adventurer 37F and they reduced my electrical usage by almost 80% and zero heat.

Go online and Google led 12 volt bulbs from china I bought all of my bulbs kobe <kobe@cantonled.com> he will send you the list of every LED you can think of and his prices are super low, I paid to do my RV $80.00 for 28 bulbs and that included Brakes, turn signal, all running lights all interior bulbs, compartment, and head lights if I had gone to camping world it would have been over $450.00
