Just getting our new MH this week. My DW has very bad knees and has trouble with steps. Is there an after market lift to help. Thanks

There are a few that owners customized while Newmar does produce a coach designed for wheel chain use. Might be a bit more then what you are looking for but at least it is a starting point.

Do a Google for chair lifts they make some that are able to lift person from ground to level with floor at "reasonable price " well lot less than a chair lift

Sounds like you have to lift a person vs a person IN a wheelchair. There are several options available. As mentioned, do a google search and read about your options BEFORE you see a DME because a DME might sell you what he is a vendor for vs what you really want or need.

Try this website: Burr Mobility | Mobile-Lift and Handy-Lift HD

They make platform lifts that your wife can just stand on then walk off when it is level with floor. Their standard model only lifts 30", but website says they can make it higher with modification. Somewhere on their site it showed one installed on a Class A and it went all the way up to the floor level.
