I wish I had wiring diagrams also -- Have spent many hours tracing wires trying to recreate them
I haven't yet found any wires for the brake lights -- All of the wiring harness connectors I've mapped out don't include the brake lights
There should be a switch underneath the driver where the brake pedal linkage enters the main hydraulic braking cylinder (If your chassis has hydraulic brakes) -- Should be a contact type plunger switch with only 2 wires connected to it -- 1 Wire has 12vdc from the circuit breaker, the other goes directly to the brake lights -- Check there for proper voltages passing through the switch -- Possible bad switch
If there is no 12vdc on either wire, then the circuit breaker that powers the switch might be bad
Also, check to see if there is a bad ground at the brake lights -- Test for 12vdc to a good chassis ground - not the ground wire leading from the brake light -- If 12vdc is present, then the ground from the brake lights to the chassis has a bad connection
Hope this helps -- If I get a chance tomorrow, I will crawl under my chassis to verify the setup of the actuating switch for the brake lights -- If I find something of interest, I will post another response
Good Luck
