Hartford insurance question

Has anyone had a larger claim or even a total loss with Hartford insurance and had difficulty getting a fair settlement?

Not on the RV, which is covered by AARP/Hartford. We did have a claim on the home, however, when wind blew out the huge set of front windows. They stepped up, wrote a check (about $18K), and got it fixed with no questions. I'm sure your question deals with RVs....

Had a claim, $2900, from an uninsured driver, I paid $500 deductible. They were very quick on fix, allowed me to pick shop. No problem....
then....onn the next renewal, nearly double the premium!
First claim of any kind, to any insurance in 50 years!
I don't use them any longer...
I understand loss prevention, but, an un-insured driver....gimme, a break...

Insurance dilemma

I am seeking a good deal on insurance for a 29 footer. Can anyone recommend a decent (and inexpensive) insurance company? Progressive just cancelled my policy because I do not own a car I told the agent that I walk, ride a bike, and use the transit system.

Thanks.

James

Thank you very much. I have requested a quote.

But I do not understand why Progressive cancelled my policy because I have no second vehicle. I don't need one as I travel by bike, and use the MTS. Shall I tell Flo?
