Hatchlift Repair

I had the screws for my hatch-lift pull away from the door on my dump compartment this weekend. I found a company called Hatchlift.com that sells repair kits and wondered if that was a solution folks here have used or if there is a better suggestion to make a secure attachment again for the door.

That's a lot of $ for a square metal plate. Looks like it is just glued on. I would stop by Home Depot and look for some thick alum. stock and make some for every bay hatch. Screw and glue em on and save a bunch!
