Hauling bikes with toad

Anyone got any pics on how they are hauling a couple of bicycles along with having a toad (4 wheels on ground). My toad does not have a trailer hitch.

What toad? Roof rack or truck mount rack? Can you put a hitch on it?

Else a double reciever on the motorhome and a bike rack there. Blue Ox makes a rack that attaches to the tow bar.

We have a hitch on the back of our Jeep and the bike rack goes there.

We're getting a hitch put on the CRV to carry the bikes. I'll post some pics when we're through!

I used to use a duel receiver but have since replaced the toad and added a receiver on it that the bike rack goes into. The setup worked well for towing a late model Honda Accord since I needed to drop the receiver a few inches to reduce the tow bar angle. The adaptor cost $100 but you can find them for less. A hitch on the toad for a bike rack might cost less.

That's what we do and it works great. I-Haul installed a 2 inch hitch on the RV for me so I can use my bike rack on the CRV or, when not rowing, on the back of the RV, too!

I put a hitch on my '14 CR-V because I also have a small utility trailer to haul stuff to the dump and get stuff that won't fit inside the Civic or CR-V. Easy to do so I did it. Good videos on eTrailer, where I bought the hitch from.
Considering getting a hitch mount carrier for the CR-V as I'd like to take a bike with me sometimes. eTrailer has several from $150 up to $1000 or so. I want one that swings down or sideways so I can still get into the back hatch.

I put a trailer hitch on the CRV. Super easy. Did it myself. They even have instructional video's to watch. www.etrailer.com I don't like my bikes on the back of the motorhome because I have a rear engine and wouldn't have access to that engine without removing bikes.

I recommend you set your car/SUV up with the ability to haul the bikes on the rear and not the coach. This way you can take the bikes on the car when at home or when you are RVing and you want to go to a trail head. I like this unit Products | Küat Racks in the receiver on the Edge. It is lightweight and easy on the back.

I have a roadmaster dual receiver on motorhome , but with my bike rack on it I can't fold/unfold the towbar . We are ow with bike rack in toads trailer hitch . While parked I put bike rack in dual receiver on motorhome so I can lock bikes up

Just about any car will accept a rear hitch. Now days, they're pretty cheap and specifically made for your car, for easy attachment.
