Question HDMI in over head cabinet

I am pretty new to the site. Find lots of great information on it.
I recently bought a 2015 Winnebago Vista 30T. In the cabinet over the driver seat is an HDMI connection. What is it for? There is also a smaller wire that is split with two ends that look like tiny ear buds.???

Going to take a guess that it's for a DVD player or a satellite box. Those ear bud things might be IR receiver extenders. You put those over the area where the box receives the remotes signal. Somewhere by your TV may be a remote receiver. Just a guess.

HDMI in over head cabinet

Pictures always help when looking for answers.
Does you owner manual not say anything about this. Winnebago usually does a pretty good job of describing these thing in their entertainment section.

I second the thought that those are IR repeater buds. Is there a coax cable in the cabinet also? If so, it may be for a satellite receiver.

Our 2016 Vista LX 27 N has the same wiring. The HDMI goes to the Tv and is used for either a satellite box ( we use a Dish Wally) or a DVD player. The other two are IR sensors that attach to the remote sensors on the above equipment. There should be a sensor on the wall by your tv. Point your remote at it and your equipment will work behind closed cabinet doors. Winnebago is very vague in the electronics section of their manuals. Really wish they had installed two HDMI cables to the tv so that both sat receiver and DVDs player can be hooked up at the same time without buying extra parts.

Should have connections in the back of the cabinet to hook coax to portable or roof satellite.
