Headlights

My headlights are all fogged or scratched on the inside of the lens. Looking to replace. I keep seeing posts that RV headlights many times are usually purchased from auto manufacturers. Mine has printed on it SAE HRI5P 98 TYE 20-5360 15H21V HB5DOT. Any search seems to come back for a Ford Crown Victoria but I can not find anything definitive. Anybody have any ideas.

Not to steal your thread, but about headlights. You say you found the numbers cast in the glass lens? I have looked my 06 Bounder 38L headlights over thoroughly and can find no numbers, letters, zip. When the headlamp guru helps you maybe I can get some information too.

Hi Pace,

Are you sure it is on the inside of the lens? My lights were terribly yellowed and scratched. I used one of the 3M headlight refinishing kits and was amazed with how well it worked. Lenses look brand new after ~30 mins of polishing.

Just had mine done on site by Dr. Headlight. Nationwide lifetime guarantee. Look like brand new and cost me $79.00

Auto repair facility (paint and body shop.). Take assembly out, have them sand (keep moving down in grit.) and then apply a high polish to them. 50$ per and your good to go.

I have a 2004 Tiffin Allegro, the original headlights were real foggy and dim. I Google searched the number located on the headlight itself and found out it is from a full size GMC truck. I located a nice set of aftermarket projector headlights on Ebay for $143. Easy install, and they work great, makes the MH look way better, and newer.

Blue Magic makes a great lens restorer and protectant. Takes very little effort. Purchase at Auto Zone Pep Boys and at some Wal Marts.
