Headlite dimmer switch

I have a 96 monaco Windsor with a TRW tilt steering column. The dimmer switch has stoped functioining. I have it apart and can't see anything defective in the switch. Does any one know if the switch changes the lights directly or does it trigger a relay some where else?

There's also a yahoo group named monacoers. After joining, you can access their files and I think there are some wiring diagrams in the files section.

I can't imagine that the amps needed for headlights would run directly through the dimmer switch. I'm confident that the dimmer switch feeds relays.

X2 on headlight/high beams running through relays.

x3 on relay operation for same reason. Easy way to tell is look at wires going to switch if they are 12 gauge or bigger it is direct if 14 gauge or smaller has a relay.
