I just went up on the roof before it got to hot and painted mine white (Rustolium 2X - glossy white)>

It still lets in a lot of light, and looks 100% better. I'm not sure about how much heat it will reflect.

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

What I'm going to try is to paint a coating of brown Krylon Fusion to block the light then a few top coats of Fusion gloss white . I want the light and heat blocking benefits I'll have to catch it early morning or late evening it is killer hot here in Pigeon Forge during the day.
