Heater Issue
2014, 38’ Georgetown. One of two heaters, works randomly. I have to turn thermostat up to 85 plus and it might kick on. Not sure how to trouble shoot this and where to begin. Back heater seems to work well. Any ideas?

Remove the outside cover to both. Compare the dip switch settings to be sure that they are in the same positions.

Bahamaniac. Found the covers but saw no settings behind, they seem to be just exhaust escapes. One had a big cover, but behind that was what appeared to be just a big motor or Cellenoid. Any thoughts,

For a gas furnace to work....it needs a signal from a thermostat.... that is nothing more than an off/on switch that flips automatically based on temperature... so if you jump the two wire going to the thermostat the furnace should start....
If you furnace starts the fan but you get no heat.... the thermostat is closing and sending the signal to the furnace... as the fan starts there is a sail in the air stream.... the "sail switch must close" for it to turn on the gas and light.... the sail switch is a protection device... if there is not enough air to remove the heat, the furnace can overheat and be damaged... I've seen bad sails.... and bad switches that attach to the sail...
Also if the gas pressure is low, from a bad gas regulator at the tank... it won't allow the correct flow..the gas furnace will not light... it expects the correct pressure and if it doesn't see the pressure it won't light...
Of course there is more.... but this is the basic's for most units...

Are you talking about the heat pumps—which are part of your AC units—or the propane furnace? I'm kinda confused by what I've read so far.

Sounds like maybe you were checking the wrong thing.
I think what Bahamaniac is talking about is the actual thermostat switch cover inside the coach. If you pull off both of those covers and look behind the switches itself you'll see DIP switch pins. He's suggesting you check to see if they are set in the same position.
I think he's talking about something like this on the back of the thermostat but not sure...
