Help 1991 Thor Pinnacle

I have no idea what I've gotten myself into. A friend sold me a 1991 Pinnacle Motorhome cheap. Now I know why!
I had it 4 days and since the registration was expired fo 7 months our local police dept towed me while I was on my way to the dmv to register it, they cost me a thousand bux for one day impound, and police fees. So I got a huge dilemma, I dont know what kind of engine this has in it as it needs a complete tune up because the smog guys said yesterday after I got it out of impound that it is a gross polluter. I need plugs wires oil oil filter air filter gas filter distributor cap and probably points but since I cannot find what the engine is I am stumped. Call me if you can help,,, 917-946-6253 today is feb 2016 call me any time

Typically the steering wheel hub has a badge for Chevy, Ford, or Dodge. There also should be a builder's plate to the left of the driver's seat with information about the RV, including VIN and weights, etc. Also a look under the hood should make it evident at to engine and chassis manufacturer. Other clues like the dashboard controls are often from the chassis manufacturer so they can also give a hint as to engine make.

Scott if all else fails, look under the front of your coach at the suspension. If it has a solid rail axle with leaf springs, it's the Ford F53 chassis powred by a 460cu in v8 engine with port injection.

If the suspension is independent with coil springs on both sides then it's a GM P30 chassis powered by a 454 cu in v8 engine with throttle body injection.

Good luck and let us know the results.
