On a spring suspension I would open the slides. On air ride, it is a little differend if you dump the air. Don't know what you have so I can't make a suggestion. I see your signature but don't know.

My driveway slopes down over a foot from the left front to the right rear. Looks like the coach is gonna fall over!
I put the slides out all the time, regardless of whether or not I level. No problems.
