Help me find a chair base hold-down, please

We have a heavy rocker-recliner behind the passenger seat which is not bolted to the floor. It has a hoop base of round 3/4 inch or one inch steel tubing.

I went to Marine and RV Furniture | Custom Yacht, Boat, RV, Motorhome furnishings by Flexsteel, Villa, Mariner and Lafer Recliners and saw a QR chair clamp but they are out and have no plans to find another supplier.

Can anyone direct me to a chair clamp, hopefully with a release? I will consider a permanent clamp, also.

Guess I could get a couple of heavy duty U-bolts and a steel plate and drill thru the floor into the compartment underneath and secure with nuts and bolts.

Any help would be appreciated.

I know Winnebago has a floor bracket hold down they use in there models with the chair behind the passanger seat of gas models.

If you want to go perminent you could use electric conduit wall brackets to bolt it down with.

I have a chair base I removed from a 1998 Pace arrow vision that was attached to a swivel recliner . If I remember correctly, It has four holes for bolting to the floor and a base plate to attach to the bottom of the chair. If you are interested, respond to this reply.

Should be easy to make. My Winnebago has one, however the base is not tubular but it has a flat base that is about 2 1/2" across. It has a threaded stud the has a thumb screw that you loosen each time to release it.
