2007 Monaco Dynasty Queen 43'. I've owned it for about 2 months. The passenger side rear slide is falling off. Where the slide is anchored, and covered by moulding, on the outside of the coach, is coming off! I can see daylight between the slide out anchors (screws?) and the coach. It looks as if it is falling off.

I don't want to move until I find a solution or you all tell me it's nothing to worry about.
It moves in and out ok (I think). I have found a few metal shavings on the bedroom floor, but none lately.

Someone must have had, or seen this problem

Please help ASAP! I'm stuck in my current park until I get an answer!

Welcome to irv2.
The fascia around the slide box interior should be attached to the slide box.
Is this what you are talking about?
Is it pulling away from the slide box.
You can close the slide and travel if that's the problem I would leave that slide closed until it can be looked at.

Thanks all for the quick replies. I finally dragged myself up the last, just had surgery, and got a flat look. It's not the slide that is coming loose, is the slideout awning that is anchored under the body trim piece. Is it okay to disconnect the slide awning, or am I just asking for trouble? We are full time now, so I'll have to find and plan ahead for repair. I don't want to leave the slide in all the time, unless I have to. The full length trim piece is sticking out from the body by about 1/2 inch for about a foot on one side and 4 inches on the other side of the awning.

I would suggest you find a good, recommended mobile RV technician that can come to you and diagnose the problem. It could be a minor issue but if the main wall has been allowing water in, then it may be more severe. At least he can let you know what you are facing if he cannot repair it on sight. Good luck and keep us posted.
