You should have a switch in your bedroom to turn them off.And I have a switch to turn the speakers from dash radio to surround sound.

ya i think this is my problem, looks just like a waterpump switch, i dont seem to have any power to the switch, i checked all the fuses, plug circuit breakers(gfi), what am i missing, also checked fader just in case.

checked voltage at the amp, looks like getting pwr. so i do think it is this switch in bedroom but do not think it is getting power to switch.

is there a fuse to this switch somewhere? checked in fuse box where invert is, checked fuses under dash area (3 blocks), checked under fridge fuses.

I am completely baffled, does the coax switcher in have anything to do with this? i rmeoved old 27" tv and vcr, reaplced with 32" lcd and dvd. that all works good but not through dhs for some reason.

any ideas?

There are no fuses, breakers in speaker wiring.

yes i am aware of this, question is why i only can get sound from rear bedroom. i cant seem to have sound through my dhs system. some say thetre is a switch that will turn off rear bedroom sapeakers and chenge to speakers up front. My switch does nothing. is there a fuse on that circuit for that switch?

Ubootwo,

I don't know if will help you or not.

When I installed my Sony 32" TV up front, I found two audio RCA cables (red and white) just laying where the old 27" RCA TV was.

I hooked them up to the audio output of the new sony TV. They go into a mixer box tied into the rigs "in dash" radio.

Now I turn the radio on, and just select "Aux 1" on the "in dash radio", and crank the (master) volume up. The TV (remote) now controls the speakers throughout the whole rig. I can then turn the bedroom speakers on, or off, with switches in the bed room.

I don't know if Fleetwood operates the same way-

Good luck,

I do not know how to get to "aux1" are u saying on the selector switch, where u can pick tv1, tv2, aux ant etc?

The only thing i have up in av area is 2 outlets and the wienguard anttena power booster with little green light when pushed on. i do not see another switch in that area other than the selector box mentioned above.

here are a couple pics of radio i have etc. i will go out and take pic of av area tv, etc shortly.

I am talking about the "in-dash" radio.

My Sony "in dash' radio has a "source" button to push in to select the "source" ie: am, fm 1, fm 2, aux 1, aux 2, cd, etc.

couple more pics of left area control panel, right area av.
last pic is of a wire harness that is just lying on the left side shelf next to control pannel, did someone remove something from this area? i dont think so, if i remember when we got this unit in late June all was working. there was a high whine from DHS speakers and when i would hit the switch (stereo/movie) under dash the whine would go away. from there i dont know what happened. All i know is the bedroom is only sound output, bedroom "radio switch" seems to do nothing as well as radio switch on control panel up front.

Any ideas more than welcome, been trying for 4 days to figure this out.

after more research, people speak of a speaker switch, that when turned on it will wake up dhs system.

i cannot find this switch, could it be the switch that says "stereo/video" located just below my dash? others say you can switch to "aux" at the radio itself, i do not seem to have this option on my radio.

Can someone iform on where this switch may be loc on a 01 discovery?
