Hey Sawmillman...are you still satisfied with Hercules tires? No problems? What size and model did you buy?

Would you recommend Hercules today? Good experience? What size and model are you running?

I would purchase them again. My size 275/70R/22.5.

They were manufactured in China, some smaller Hercules coach tires are manufactured in the US.

My tires are stamped on the inside "made in China"

These are J rated tires with deeper tread than most other brands.

I will replace the remaining 4 Hankooks with the Ironman (subsidiary of Hercules) tires in 2019.

No issues and they do not leak a bit of air over the past year.
Are you still happy with this tire? We are needing to replace tires on our 1999 Fleetwood Pace Arrow and considering the Hercules. Is the ride smooth? Thanks for your input.

I am still very pleased with these tires and will be adding 4 more I-502's later this year.

I have a Class A rig with the smaller tires, 235/85 R16, the rig is ~16K lbs and I purchased the H-901's back in 2014. The tires that were on the rig when we bought it were cracked horrendously and I was so nervous about driving it the 40 miles home that I bought FMC towing package just to be on the safe side!

We've put 16K miles on these tires and I love them. Never leak air, ride is quiet (well, as quiet as a 21 year old gas rig can be) and will be buying two new steering tires this Spring since it's been 5 years since the date the tires were made.

I know the OP is looking for folks who have the larger tires, but I did a lot of research on these before buying and I'm very happy with them and their higher carrying capacity:

At 90 LBS Pressure: Single: 3300 lbs, Dualy: 3005 lbs

Mine were $264 each out the door.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy them....IMHO.

Good luck!

I have a good friend that works for one of the major tire manufacturers here in the U.S. He told me that the company purchased several different brands of Chinese manufactured tires to run thru the same tests that they put their own tires through. It caused them concerns because they performed as well as their own tires did. Now I would prefer to buy U.S. made tires or anything else for that matter, but for the price difference I cant do it. I had Milestar tires on my last motorhome and had no problems with them either.

When we purchased our coach 3 years ago it had Hercules 502's (size 315-80x22.5). After 20K plus miles we have no complaints and would purchase when they are need of replacement. No sidewall cracking and holds air well.

Where did you track them down? I've got the same model Eagle and am starting to look at new steer tires.

Thanks,

Mike
