There are some buyer consider anything under 1.5 million to be low end and some buyers consider anything over 100 thousand to be high end.

Buy what fits you and your price range and don't worry about everyone else.

From what I can see there is actually very little difference in the running gear. There are only a couple of chassis choices depending as much on the size of the units in question. House construction varies a bit. Then there is a minimum level for functionality and the it moves to the level of bling.

Like everyone said, what functionality is important to you, how will you use it, Whatever your lifestyle is at home, your MH will probably be a mini version of that lifestyle.

I would consider myself a low end buyer. I've now had enough experience so I know how I use the MH, and what I need to satisfy those needs.

I purchase older MH that are 1/3 to 1/2 into their life and custom fit it with the little tweeks that I like.

I love to attend the shows to get ideas. The same for forums like this, a lot of experience and really neat ideas.

Quality, comfort, reliability and functionality are important to all, its just a matter of what that means to the purchaser as everyone is different. For the DW and I, we like to take the toys and the SUV so a high towing capacity was on our list of must have, like home comfort feel and the quality that goes with that.

You will get all sorts of answers as to what is the right way to go but in the end, it only matters what is right for you and your needs/wants. Your needs and wants may change over time, ours did; travel trailer, gasser, toy hauler and now DP.

Good luck in your search!
