Hiring someone to deliver my Class A

I have a 35 foot gas Fleetwood Bounder in Florida that I intended to pick up myself but I have become ill so I am wondering, is there an affordable method of getting it driven the 1334 miles from there to here?

If you are a member of FMCA check with them. One of the benefits of being a member is getting RV's home for members that become ill.

Good Luck,
Jon

I live in SE Iowa. The RV is in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Are you taking your own RV there? How would the logistics work?

I'm flying down with the family. At the end of our trip, I could possibly get them on their flight and pick up your coach. I think we leave Disney Oct. 1st. I'd just have to figure out a few small things. If you're giving the dealer down there a bunch of money, they should be able to pick me up at the airport. After drop off in Iowa, we could just rent a little car for a one way trip back to MN. Shouldn't be too hard.

If I were in your position, I would post on Craigslist. Com for someone from your local area. That way you get to see and know the person you're entrusting the Motorhome to. Still a one way trip there, but driver will be home when done. Know his experience, look at his Motorhome, all banged up - he's not the one. Be sure it isn't someone wanting to use your Motorhome to learn how to drive one.

My brother and I both have a 37' DP with a Honda CRV toad and live in Greenville SC. It is 630 miles from here to your MH then the 1300 miles to your home. It sounds like this is a MH that you use in Fla not that you are buying one. If this is the fact I would need to know the condition of the MH. Send me a PM at
alhunt@bretthunt.com if you have not found someone.

This is great of folks helping others!

Be sure proper insurance is in place for all.

What happens if engine fails or an accident.

Private party owner insurance gets funny about others driving insured assets so owner please contact your insurance company and ask them to provide proper paperwork for your driver to carry.

Plan for worst case scenario to be on safe side.

maybe have it taken to a local place and serviced or inspected, just things to think about.
