Holding tank smell

Another question. When I bought my 2006 fleetwood, the previous owner had it winterized. He told me that we should take the water filter cartridge out and pour it about 1/2 full of bleach. It did that but now I guess because of the winterizer mixed with the bleach..... But I really smells bad!
It .seems to be better the more we run the water, what can i do to clean it out and get the smell out I can empty the tank will that help? It is currently hooked up to city water and we are not using the holding water but we still have the smell... Please help

Empty it. You may have to fill and empty it a couple of times. You can also run some baking soda through the tank to get the smell out. Be sure to run it through all the lines too.
