Dont have a Holiday Rambler, but have a 2000 38' coach on the F53 Ford chassis and average mpg over 12 years has been 7. Handles great towing an 03 Suzuki XL7.

Your mpg will greatly depend on your driving habits and combined weight of coach and toad.

Hi jc131 -
We own a 2012 Vacationer - it is the 30 SFS model - which is 31 feet overall.
We purchased it new in September 2011. We haven't put that many miles on it - numerous local camping trips and in October '12 we traveled from PA to TN, about 1200 miles round trip. We got around 8.3 MPG on the tank of gas that we had not used our generator. My DH has absolutely no complaints on the handling of this unit. We've had numerous RV's over the years, so he has had much experience with everything from B+, C, gas Class A's and a Monaco Windsor DP - Of course, the pushers give a better ride overall but he likes the way the Vacationer handles and we've not added anything to it as far as aftermarket products (steering, shocks, or sway bars).

We towed a 2007 Mini Cooper on the trip to TN. Didn't even know it was back there!

Anything else we can help you with just ask !
