Honest RV Dealers -- Your experience

We read about all the horror stories about RV dealers lying, and bait and switch, and poor inept service departments, with dealers throwing away previous owners service records, etc.

But has anyone found a good honest dealer with competent techs for Class A repairs and maintenance??? Name and location please.
Or an alignment shop that actually aligns the front correctly....

And what about the factory service and new motorhome delivery with loads of defects.

Thanks in advance.

Don't know where you live, but we bought from Tom Lindstrom in Moorpark California. He is the most honest Owner/Dealer I have ever met. He contracts all his repair work to Coast RV in Augora Hills, and they do a great job. If you are looking for a new MH he only sells Newmar, and what ever used ones he takes in on trade.

If you're in the Southeast you might try Independence RV in Winter Garden ,Fl. They are a Newmar dealer who are fair dealers with a great service department.

These guys are great alignment people. They do MH's, heavy duty trucks and semi's. I've had them align three of my motorhomes and every one was brought into spec and handled great after having it done.

Northside RV, Lexington, KY Northside RV. Sales, Rentals, Service & Parts in Lexington, KY I have been going there for years, have not purchased a RV, but use them for parts and repairs. Nothing major other than a new Onan generator.

I'm not down playing anyone's experience, but....

How do you know when a (inject salesman, politician, Real Estate Agent, etc. ) is lying?

They are moving their mouths.....

There are lots of good, honest dealers out there. There are a few that give the others a bad name. You hear more about the bad ones than the good ones.

Working with a dealer is a lot about personal relationships. Reasonable people will go farther than ones who are anal and demanding.

Honest RV dealer? In my experience that term is an oxymoron.

I would feel that premier rv in Colburn oregon is a good dealer. I haven't bought there but find the operation top of the line.

Brazels rv repair in Centralia wa is the best repair you can get.

You always have to remember that most of the "horror" stories are people who bought an entry level coach and are ticked it isn't the same as a top of the line coach. Yes some folks get a bad deal, and there are dis honest dealers.

We thought we had an really honest dealer, now beginning to doubt that after the engine blew and cost us over $22,000 after only 2,600 miles. From what they said and did along with some posts on this forum there are gaps in the story that are showing up.

And the La Mesa RV dealer in Tucson, too. They know us by our first names, have always taken care of us. We used the same service adviser for 10 years, until he recently transferred to their place near Phoenix.

One of the best heavy truck alignment shops in the country is Home. This is the factory workshop/test facility for Josam Alignment Equipment. They are located in Orlando, FL on Exchange Dr.
They cured my coach of it's pulling to the right that 2 other shops could not fix. They are not cheap, but the work is excellent.
