Hope someone can help

I took my Automotion shade down yesterday due to a bad controller. Bypassed the circuit board and everything seems to be working now. Does anyone know about how many revolutions I should put on the spring when I reinstall?

I don't know the correct answer, but if I was doing this, I would roll the shade up, unwind the shade until it's down counting the revolutions, then add 3 or 4 more and give it a try. Basically you want the spring to offset the weight of the shade as it unrolls.
