Hot Water Heater by pass

Have a1999 Winnebago Ultimate Freedom
I can not find HW buy pass my manual
Shows a plate but there not one Then there
is little black thing that has a screw that you turn
I put air to my RV but it did not change any thing

There are pictures in this link of different by-pass plus you may need to remove a panel if WH backs into cabinet to see them.
