House Heater

I have a 2003 Itasca 35u it has a house heater that is supplied hot water from the engine provide heat to the coils under the floor. Was thinking about putting a low flow pump off of the hot water heater to supply water to the coils while Boondocking? There is a switch on the dash to operate it, i could power the pump and fan from the house power supply. Just a though?

You would have to add valves to shut off circulation through the engine and radiator when using the water heater for heat. Also, check BTU output of heater, I don't know if it's capable of heating the RV. If you have a forced air furnace, I'd think it would be more efficient and less draining on the batteries when boondocking. A lot of work to keep your toes warm!
