Household Refrigerator water smell :(

I have a Maytag household refrigerator in my new to me coach. All of the faucets the water smells and taste fine. The refrigerator ice and water is horrible, almost rotten egg smell. I changed water filter and it helped but it is still too bad to drink or use the ice.

This is the first time I used my unit and the previous owner left refrigerator running all the time.

I know how to clean the system, but my question is how to purge the system for storage or how do others store their coach and protect this from happening again?

I need to find something to pump the bleach through the supply line from below the kitchen sink so I don't have to do the entire system, just the refrigerator and ice maker?

I store my unit in an underground cave that is humidity controlled and constant 65 degrees. Thanks.

Your plastic holding tank in the back of the refrigerator is full of mold. You have to physically remove it and bleach flush it. Don't drink any water out of it. It will look like is full of fine pieces of hair. When you get it cleaned, make sure you drain it out when storing the RV. If you take the line loose from the solenoid up to the tank it should drain. Probably in the back where you can't get to it.
