We love our 35A floorplan. In our opinion it's the best floorplan we've ever seen in a MH. We were surprised when Winnebago discontinued it after just 4 years. I'd like to have a DP but I think we'll be keeping our Suncruiser because of the layout. My wife says that just because we aren't home doesn't mean we have to live on cans of beans served on paper plates. She wants her full galley and I want what comes from that galley. Sorry, no pictures of the galley but basically looks like those above.

Scott, you might not have quite the kitchen counter space, but do you have one wonderful new MH. Some day I hope to move to your level!!!

My wife is an active cook, so a large kitchen was a necessity. We've looked at newer rigs, but can't find anything that works better for us.
Dan, it looks like you guys have a full oven, which we don't. We removed (and stored) our glass pane door to the bedroom as you did. That door was always in the way.

Agree with you, we can't find anything we like better (other than the ones I can't afford)!!!!

Thanks a lot Rick. I spent the last year researching to the point of obsessing over this decision. The reality is that it is about compromise ... I don't think there is the "perfect coach"! But, close to perfect in our minds is just fine.

I really like this thread, for most of us we have worked a long career and sacrificed along the way so we appreciate what we have. It doesn't matter what we own, it's ours and there is a strong sense of pride ... great to have a place to show it off with others who can appreciate.

SWAG, I agree completely. Mine may not be as fancy as some but I know every inch of it and I love every minute I spend in it.

We do have a full oven. The first trip or two my wife used it, but once she got used to the convection oven/microwave, we haven't even lit the regular oven in a couple of years now. We would probably like having the extra storage like yours instead of the oven.

Old but works for us

Here are a couple of our 95 Flair. Not anything like the ones so far, but it is great for the two of us.

This is a great thread, but quit with the "mine isn't" as nice

...........you (most) didn't buy it to impress others. If you love it that's all that matters, be proud of your rig whatever it is . I checked my ego at the door many years ago. Every rig in this thread is wonderful.

I was not saying that our Flair "is not as nice/good as others",and that we are not proud to own it..............I was trying to say that this is what "an older Motorhome" looks like today, and in my opinion, still looks good inside even though it does not have any slide-outs, leather or mirrors in the ceiling.
