How big is yours

Windshield wipers on my 08 Excursion ar 25.5" long. The barely clear the top of the windshield enough so that I can see through the "wiped" part of the glass. I am thinking I should step them up to 30 or even 32 inch wilpers but am concerned about how they would operate; is the motor strong enough and will there be enough pressure on the blades to clean the windshield. any suggestions would be appreciated.

may 06/7 Excursion cap had 32' i think off the stop of my head

the motor used is just a stander run of the line truck motor and should be ok

you could just try to go up one size every time you need them and see if any wiring / motor its self is getting to hot

Terry, if you think you had 32" I will probably jump to 30" and see what happens. Thanks

But do they hit at the outer edge of the window when in motion or is the gap the same all the way around?

Remember that a 28" wiper can be found almost anywhere...walmart, auto part stores, etc.....whereas the 32" pretty much has to be special ordered and will cost at least twice as much.

Get a set of 28's and see if they work.
