In the past that's what I've done. I had a 26' trailer with my MG and Triumph. The RV was and is slow but handled the trailer all over the western US with no problem. It was just a pain having to deal with the trailer at campgrounds.

That's the set up I was looking for but I am not sure if my chassis can handle that much weight on the rear.

How much does your bike weigh?
I know I'm close to max drive axle capacity with my 800 pound bike on the Hydralift (and I have a Tag axle).

The lift weighs 4-500 lbs but the 1300-1500 lbs (bike and lift) is going to put 2000 lbs on the rear axle...I looked at pictures of your rig and it has more rear overhang than most rigs so it's going to take 600+ lbs off the front axle.
MCRV has a 23,000lb rear axle making it possible to add that much weight to his rear axle. Doubt yours is 15K.

His rv only has less than 1700 lb total payload. You cant put 1500 lbs of bike and lift on the back.

With a 5,000# hitch w/500# dead weight limit on the Isuzu chassis?? He is exceeding hitch capacity before adding a trailer.

OMG, it’s even worse than I thought. NPR specs: “The front axle has a gross weight rating of 5,360 pounds, and a maximum capacity of 6,830 pounds. The rear axle has a gross weight rating of 8,840 pounds, and a maximum capacity of 11,020 pounds. The NPR has a body/payload allowance of 6,315 to 6,453 pounds.” On a care chassis with a cab.

I had a Kawasaki Drifter based on the Indian design and found that the oversized fenders were not good for loading ramps and wheel chocks. I went with a smaller bike, VTX1300 and carry it on a swivel wheel. (doesn't help with the jeep though). Sometimes you have to make choices when RV'ing, like do you really need 2 toys? Being retired, we just wait for a nice day to play on the m/c.
Another option, can you mount the swivel wheel to the jeep rear hitch?

You're right - sometimes we can't take all our toys with us at the same time. Either leave something at home for the next trip or a bigger coach/engine/transmission becomes the other choice.

I'm confused: generally speaking the GAWR is the maximum capacity of the axle - how do you get a "maximum capacity" that is considerably higher then the GAWR?
