How do you apply Dicor to the top of your slides?

I have 2 small leaks on my bedroom slide so I think that I need to go over the seams with Dicor. The challenge is that there is a topper over the slide. I think that I will need to remove the topper to access the slide top (which I will do)

HERES THE BIG QUESTION: How do I access the top inner seam (the one tucked under the seal at the wall?

With the topper off, I think that I can access 3 sides of the top of slide top but the seam closes to the wall is under the seal. I can access it from inside (with the slide closed) because it is too tight to reach over. the inner lip That is the one that I need to seal. Anyone know a trick or some way to access the outside top inner seam?

Bring the slide in, or partway in. Do it from the inside. You may find that Tape (Eternabond ofr Diseal) is easier than lap sealant.

I just did my passenger side slide all the way around, whch had multiple leaks around the edge seams. Removed topper to do ends and outer edge, then went inside to do the inner edge.

In your circumstance, we would recommend pulling the slide inside the unit so that the seal is within reach. We would suggest using the Dicor Di-Seal tape rather than the lap sealant and here is why; to apply the lap sealant would mean that you would need to leave your slide out until the lap sealant cures in order to prevent smearing in the lap sealant. This process could take several days or even weeks to fully cure.
