The auto levelers have been right on so far. Before I had them I used this. Works great. Got it at a major camping chain.

I can put a small 12" level in 12 different locations and it will read different in every one.

I have a mid door entry and the leveling control panel is right there at the door. I use the auto level, but if I do it manually I sit on the step with a level on the floor next to me. I check side to side and front to back and adjust accordingly. When that is level, everything will work right. If DW complains I can tweak as necessary.

Hmmm.... when the green light in the middle of the power gear panel lites up, it is level. While I do not use the auto level function, I have calibrated the system for level and know it to be so.

I downloaded an app to my iPad. Its very accurate and more often than not the auto setting on my leveling jacks is spot on.

I use a small 4" level on the kitchen counter. I have lights on the leveling jacks but they don't always jive. Like others have said if it is close by the fridge you're good. Unless you have one of those self levelling fridges that cost a kings ransom.

Jeez... I guess yours will take quite the tilt then?
I'm a former blue water sailow, takes at least a 40 degree list to spill the coffee or beer!

We use a small circular level on top of the stove. If we cook something in the oven, we don't want it to spill.

I turn and look at my wife and if she has tobacco juice dripping on both sides of her mouth, I figure we must be level.
