Doing I trip in the next week of 375 miles and will Wally-dock for 5-6 hours about half way. Will start about 8pm and drive Wally-Dock site #1.

Coming home from Phoenix to NY in a gasser, we went from El Paso to Hope AR. Started at 7am and finished 850 miles later at 9 pm. Highlight of the trip was arriving in Dallas at 5pm rush hour.

We were in a time crunch due to having to get home for work. Now that I'm retired I run maybe 400 miles a day. Much more enjoyable.

Whoever said a trip across Texas isn't a trip, it's a career pretty much said it all.

Really for me, wife won't drive, it's more about time behind the wheel. Especially if driving in mountains. I can easily put in 10 hours, but have done 12.

1770 miles from NC to CO non-stop (except refueling) over Memorial Day weekend a few years ago. I flew out to pick up the rig and drove it straight back. Not a smart move but a necessity due to work schedule.
