Wow, thankfully I still have the original Koni Adjustable on the old rig and enjoy them. We have an 11,300 front axle.

Just one bounce on big dips and very smooth handling. A bit soft in the hard turns.

Guess they made them better in the old days.

dean, you are lucky it's still strong. unbelievable what they are doing now... when i set it to 1.5 full turns (the max is 1.75 turns), i was able to pull the stem out by bare hands. how could that be?

my goal was simple - i care less about the "comfort" part, i would be happy to just experience what are on a street bus, or an 18 wheeler which drives stably on a bumpy road. the fsd has been removed from koni online selection for my coach, as a tech told me that they made the change because they saw the unfitness for its weight rating. from what i have experienced, konis might be ok for lighter rvs/trucks/cars, not a good choice for heavy ones.

I'm a little late to this thread, but I just had 4 RK shocks installed and am quite pleased with their performance. They don't substitute for active air, but a great improvement from what I had. I find the front shocks so be a little stiff, but not harsh, or at all unacceptable. The handling is very good, especially the side to side. My coach is 29.5K, so a bit on the lite side. I'd recommend them.
