How I mounted crossfires and preserved the chrome

Depending on the type of high-hats you have it may not be an issue..neither of the mounting brackets worked for me. When I was having my airbags done I talked with a mechanic there and we decided on this solution (may help some of you). Basically cut an access hole in the high hat so you can use the axle flange bolts.

Very nice solution. I'm curious, do the 2 TPS monitors and the Crossfire all mounted on the one bolt cause a wheel balancing problem? Seems like a lot of weight rotating off center. How is it balanced?

Technically yes, but considering the weight of the dual tire combo (and rotating mass of the axles/hubs) the offset weight is insignificant. I also run equal in the tires as a a balancer so that *should* negate the issue vs. a fixed balancing method (wheel weights).

Thanks for the reply, I wondered if it was an issue.
