Had our current motorhome for 11 months, very, very happy with it. Had our previous motorhome for 15 months, obvious was not happy with it, the one before that one was bought new and owned for 16 years. Current play is to drive this one until the wheels fall off!

We bought our current Arctic Fox this June, so that makes it almost 5 months. According to DW we're keeping this one a long time!

We like it quite a bit and have found the interior to be nearly as comfortable as the Beaver Patriot we had before. Although, DW does miss the washer/dryer.

We started our upgrades before the coach was even built, and will continue to make various upgrades as time goes on. In chronological order:

Hensley Hitch

Under carriage sewer hose carrier for flag pole

Progressive EPS

MaxxAir vent covers

Indoor/outdoor carpet in 3 outside accessible storage compartments

High tech solar controller to replace OE solar controller

Inverter, 1800W

Separate 120VAC circuits in galley for inverter

Additional 120VAC outlets in galley

LED bulbs in assorted interior lights

Shelving in shirt closets & galley lockers

Fiddles in bathroom locker to keep things from falling out

Closet rod in shower for drying clothes

Second under carriage sewer hose carrier for spare sewer hose

Replace 2 fixed windows with opening windows

Gauges on LP tanks

2" receiver on rear of TT for storage box

Large fire extinguisher in entry to replace puny OE extinguisher

CO alarm in bedroom in addition to OE combo fire/Co alarm in living room

Pull Rite hitch in lieu of Hensley (on order)
Future upgrades:

Dexter E-Z Flex spring equalizers

FW filtration system

Back up lights

Remote control for galley grey tank drain valve

Storage box for generator and fuel cans

Electric stabilizer jacks
We've had our MH 8 months and will try our best to keep this one until our kids outgrow the bunks. They are only 9 and 6 so hopefully that'll be some time yet.

No one has said anything about financing a 10 year old motor home or trailer. Most finance companies refuse to finance a 10 year old trailer or motor home. So, if you're planning to move up, do so before your current toy gets 10 years old.

We bought the present coach new in December 2006. The previous coach was a 37' 1990 Gulfstream Friendship which we had for 11 years. We shopped for a year before deciding on the floorplan we have with the new one, which we're quite happy with. We live in it 4 months every winter, and it's very comfortable. It's been trouble free, and I have no plans to upgrade.

Have had our MY2000 HR Vacationer (32', no slides)for 9 years. Full timed in it for 1.5 years. It has 66,000+ pretty trouble-free miles. Don't plan on getting another motor home at this time.

We have a 2005 Alpenlite Seville Villa with the step down parlor and 4 slides... we love it.. We are full timing with this winter in the Rio Grande Valley. We have looked at many others but this floor plan gives us the room for two old folks to enjoy each day.
In our Alpenlite Travel Club folks tend to hold on to the Alpenlites... comfortable 5th wheel and a very comfortable travel club..
