6.5kW LP 16 years old 292.7 hours.
Only used if dash air can't keep up(has to be in the 90's outside, exercise and if shore power is off over 1 hour.
Or if microwave is needed at a rest stop.

I am not afraid to run mine, that is what we bought if for and why we pack it around. Most of the time now it is just when traveling in high heat to run the A/C units. Most of my earlier hours were accumulated from racing and time spent at the sand dunes.

We don't boondock nearly as much any more.

Mike.

Just under 2000 on my 12.5KW. A close cousin of zmotorsports 10KW. I've got to change my fan belt if the rain will stop for a day. Changing the hoses, fuel pump and coolant sensor while I'm in there.

My Onan 7.5kw diesel has 1022 hours. When we bought the coach in late November 2014 it had 600 hours.

When we go racing, it starts about an hour before we leave and shuts down when we get home. Back on April, I started it on Wednesday when I went to Bristol and shut it down Sunday. Been in Myrtle Beach since Saturday and it ran all the way down. Will run all the way back home on Sunday.

Does yours use the Kubota or Isuzu engine?

643 hours on my Onan QD 7500. We use it when were driving in hot weather. We don't boondock a lot, but when we do I run the generator twice a day for about three hours to keep the batteries charged.

On our last coach a 2004 Winnie Vectra the Onan 7500 had 2500 hours on it when I bought it. I sold it in 2012 with about 2700 hours. No problems.

My present coach has 130 hours on the Onan 8000.

I used to remember the power boaters who would start their generator on Friday night and stop it on Sunday night when they went home at the end of the weekend. I had a sailboat and used mine about 1 to 2 hours per day.
